Vietnam and Thailand....

Will continue the pictorial tour of some of the colorful Asian countries, with Vietnam and Thailand today. I did not know Vietnam had ethnic minorities. I am glad I started this series of posts, it is quite an education.

Please enjoy. ( A note to Loi, if you find any crazy stuff in the Vietnam section do correct me please).

  1. Hello:
We are completely amazed at these wonderful images of two countries about which we know so little. What strikes us is the sheer beauty to be found in both the landscape and the people as well, of course, as the vibrant colour everywhere.

A friend of ours was a war photographer during the Vietnam War and we have seen many of his pictures. How different, thankfully, it all seems now.

    1. You are right, we all have a war torn image of Vietnam, first thing that comes to mind is the picture of the poor naked girl who lost her skin because of Napalm bombs.

It is amazing how different the country is today, colorful and vibrant full of life.

    1. You are welcome my friend. It was a pleasure for me to find out a different lively and colorful image of a beautiful Vietnam, not the one scared by a war.

Happy New Year to you too.
